The CMG Safe Haven online training is replacing the VIRTUS training. The training consists of 3 modules with  training videos that is approximately 60 minutes and will include a criminal background check that must be completed.
These trainings are available in English and Spanish.
Safe Environment training is only  available online and can be completed using a PC or any mobile device.

• All employees, participants, and volunteers in a parish ministry, organization or group 18 years of age and older at St. Nicholas Parish are required to complete the Safe Haven online training program.

• All individuals must complete the training and complete a background check prior to the start of employment and/or volunteer service.

• Individuals who had previously completed VIRTUS training, the 5-year anniversary date is still in place, they will need to log into CMGConnect with their previous VIRTUS user id and 1234 as the password. Once the individual logs into their CMGConnect account, they will be able to change their password. If they do not remember the user id, they may contact CMG at [email protected].

• The mandatory renewal training must be completed every 5 years, and a new background check submitted before the 5-year expiration of prior training.

The Following are ministries within our Parish that are Required to take CMGConnect.

• All Clergy working in the Archdiocese

• All Employees over the age of 18 within the Archdiocese, including parishes and schools, regardless of position, ministry, part-time and full-time status

• All volunteers  in a parish ministry,

• organizations or groups
